Presentación
Clinical simulation is a teaching methodology used worldwide to train healthcare professionals in a safe and controlled environment. This technique is based on the recreation of real-life clinical situations and the use of standardized/simulated patients/mannequins, specific equipment and materials, along with virtual simulation techniques, to provide an experience as close to reality as possible for acquiring clinical and reasoning skills, technical and non-technical skills, and teamwork abilities.
The Clinical Simulation Area of the UMH (ASCUMH) has the mission of providing students and healthcare personnel with the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their work in a safe and collaborative environment, with the ultimate goal of improving patient care.
