Presentación

Clinical simulation is a teaching methodology used worldwide to train healthcare professionals in a safe and controlled environment. This technique is based on the recreation of real-life clinical situations and the use of standardized/simulated patients/mannequins, specific equipment and materials, along with virtual simulation techniques, to provide an experience as close to reality as possible for acquiring clinical and reasoning skills, technical and non-technical skills, and teamwork abilities.

The Clinical Simulation Area of ​​the UMH (ASCUMH) has the mission of providing students and healthcare personnel with the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their work in a safe and collaborative environment, with the ultimate goal of improving patient care.
