Visit to the Comprehensive Clinical Simulation Centre of the University of Murcia.

Last Thursday, October 24, the technical team of the Clinical Simulation Area of the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) visited the Comprehensive Clinical Simulation Centre of the University of Murcia (CISCUM) in a training day of collaboration and learning. This initiative, promoted by Professor José Manuel Ramos, Innovation Coordinator of the Vice-Rectorate of Planning and Social Responsibility, was carried out with the support of the Faculties of Medicine of both universities and the Technical Support Service for Teaching and Research (SATDI) of the UMH.

During the visit, the ASCUMH team was guided by Victoria Pérez, a simulation technician at CISCUM, who shared her experience and knowledge in a complete presentation of the various spaces and technologies of the center. The visit included a detailed review of the clinical simulation rooms, debriefing areas, control rooms and warehouses, where the UMH team was able to learn in depth about the internal functioning of the center. This tour allowed the UMH simulation technical staff not only to explore a variety of simulators, but also to resolve technical and organizational concerns.

The experience of the visit was enriching, consolidating the relationship between the universities and reinforcing the commitment of both centers to excellence in clinical simulation. By sharing good practices and solutions, the day provided valuable learning that ASCUMH will be able to incorporate into its own activities. The availability and support shown by the CISCUM team and the professionalism of Victoria Pérez reflect the collaborative spirit that drives these institutions to constantly improve the quality of their teaching and training in clinical simulation.
