Next <\/span><\/span><\/span>Monday, September 21, 2026 <\/span><\/span><\/b>, at <\/span><\/span><\/span>12:30 pm <\/span><\/span><\/b>, <\/span><\/span><\/span>Simulate is Human<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i> returns to Radio UMH to premiere its <\/span><\/span><\/span>third season <\/span><\/span><\/b>, dedicated to continuing to explore clinical simulation and its contribution to patient safety.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In this first episode, we focus on <\/span><\/span><\/span>moulage <\/span><\/span><\/b>, a tool capable of transforming a wound, a change in skin color, a smell, or even the atmosphere of a scene into useful information for learning. Because, in simulation, realism isn’t just about something “looking real.”<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To find out, we will have <\/span><\/span><\/span>Berta S\u00e1nchez Ruiz <\/span><\/span><\/b>, author and coordinator of the <\/span><\/span><\/span>Moulage manual for clinical simulation<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i><\/a> , and <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ra\u00fal Rodr\u00edguez Romeo <\/span><\/span><\/b>, electronic engineer, specialist in characterization and special effects and CEO of <\/span><\/span><\/span>EMULANT Solutions<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/a> , whose career connects engineering, film and clinical simulation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With them we will talk about how a moulage is designed, what role <\/span><\/span><\/span>learning objectives play <\/span><\/span><\/b>, how much realism a scene really needs, and what technical work is hidden behind these recreations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The episode, presented by <\/span><\/span><\/span>Sergio Javaloy Ballestero <\/span><\/span><\/b>, a clinical simulation technician, is part of the initiative of the <\/span><\/span><\/span>Clinical Simulation Area of \u200b\u200bthe UMH (ASCUMH) <\/span><\/span><\/b>to publicize the value of simulation in improving patient safety.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
