Last Saturday, June 6, the University Hospital of Sant Joan d’Alacant hosted a new edition of the <\/span><\/span>Objective Structured Clinical Evaluation<\/span><\/span><\/strong> (OSCE) of the <\/span><\/span>Degree in Medicine<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/a> of the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University of Elche of the 25\/26 course, one of the most relevant teaching activities of the academic year due to its ability to evaluate in an integrated way the clinical skills acquired by the students throughout their training.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The test, organized by the Faculty of Medicine and coordinated by Professor\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Jos\u00e9 Manuel Ramos Rinc\u00f3n,<\/span><\/span><\/strong> was held in two morning shifts, between 7:30 and 15:30, and had the participation of <\/span><\/span>100 students<\/span><\/span><\/strong> who went through the 14 stations designed to assess essential skills for professional practice, including communication skills, clinical reasoning, physical examination, decision making, procedures and patient safety.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t
