The next episode of <\/span><\/span><\/span>Simulating is Human<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/i> invites us to travel to the <\/span><\/span><\/span>Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD)<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/a> , in the Dominican Republic, to discover its <\/span><\/span>clinical simulation center<\/span><\/span><\/a> and learn firsthand about its impact on healthcare training.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On this occasion, Professor <\/span><\/span><\/span>Jos\u00e9 Manuel Ramos Rinc\u00f3n <\/span><\/span><\/b>, Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University (UMH), travels to the UASD to interview <\/span><\/span><\/span>Agust\u00edn D\u00edaz <\/span><\/span><\/b>, head of the postgraduate area at the simulation center.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

During the interview, key topics will be addressed, such as the role of simulation in competency-based learning, resident training, the importance of non-technical skills\u2014such as communication and teamwork\u2014and the challenges of implementing a simulation culture in growing educational environments.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The episode, presented by <\/span><\/span><\/span>Sergio Javaloy Ballestero <\/span><\/span><\/b>, a clinical simulation technician, is part of the initiative of the <\/span><\/span><\/span>Clinical Simulation Area of \u200b\u200bthe UMH (ASCUMH) <\/span><\/span><\/b>to publicize the value of simulation in improving patient safety.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

An opportunity to learn how other international centers are developing clinical simulation and to move towards safer, more innovative and collaborative training.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
